Crystal Kids Youth Centre is a registered charity in Edmonton that provides support and mentoring for urban Edmonton youth . The kids they help are born into broken families facing all the challenges of poverty in the inner-city, born to parent’s who despite their desires, have been unable to provide for and nurture them. 

The primary reason they exist is to provide avenues to break this poverty cycle and divert our kids from criminal activity, addictions, and to protect them from abuse and neglect. By providing recreational opportunities including athletic and artistic programming, nutritional support, literacy and life skills coaching, they impact these young people in a way that strengthens their resiliency.

I have been working with Crystal Kids Youth Centre for 3 years and in addition to maintaining their computers and network, I provide their Kids Computer Lab with a safe online environment using a combination of hardware and software.
